The Atlanta Thrashers Women's Hockey Team was started by Dawn Mehler in 1996. Our purpose is to provide a fun, competitive and educational environment for any and all women who want to play the great sport of ice hockey. We are open to females over the age of 13 and all skill levels.

During the year we skate two seasons - Fall/Winter (Aug. - Dec.) and Spring/Summer (Jan. - May). Each consists of practices and scrimmage games. We invite you to learn more by attending any of our practices or games at the Cooler in Alpharetta each Wednesday at 9:30 pm.

Our coaching staff provide top quality skills training and drills, with group and one-one-one instruction every week.

Other unique events are the Olympic Clinics and USA Hockey Travel Team.
